Owl Fix It Editing Services started because founder Nicole Fruit wanted to live her dream.

Graduating with a B.A. in English with a Secondary Education Certification from Northern Illinois University, she taught high school English for a while, then managed a manufacturing company.

After years away from writing and editing, she started a writer’s group and organized that for three years. She spent her time helping other writers reach their dream and completing her own novel as well. After moving, she turned over the helm of the writer’s group and has settled in her new location by forming another writer’s critique group.

Currently, she has combined her experiences into starting a freelance copy editing business after obtaining her copy editing certification from Writer’s Digest.

Owl Fix It Editing Services was started in 2017 and is focused on giving you the best experience with the editing process, while maintaining your voice and your style in your work. Currently, Owl Fix It is specializing in manuscripts and short stories covering all the genres. However, nonfiction is not a problem.
